IT'S A NEW YEAR! I think it is important to look back on things and congratulate yourself for the things you have accomplished every year. I am always feeling like I never get enough done, but then when I really reflect on things (and look through old pictures) I realize sometimes... I am making progress! LOL Here are a few of the mini projects I worked on in 2022. I picked up this old high chair for free off the FB Market Place. I gave it a fresh coat of black paint and it works well for my grand babies. I am careful about them being in it as it is old and doesn't have the divider between the legs thing... But they are both over a year old so it they sit up pretty well in it and I tie them in. I found this little folding TV tray table thing at Goodwill. I painted it black and gave it a fresh wallpaper cover. You might notice this same wallpaper in another place... This rocker was another Goodwill find. I think I paid $8 for it. I couple coats of black paint and it looks good as new! These are over $100 new. WOOT-WOOT! I also did a couple of wall refreshes. I painted the wall behind the dining table black! On the wall going up the stairs I added a wallpaper that I just LOVE! It is so bright and fun. Does it look familiar? I was busy in 2022 getting the house ready for our wedding! We did a lot of projects, these are just a few of the mini-makeovers. You can read more about the things we have done at the house in the category Kelly's New Adventure! Happy New Year y'all!

Our mom was a junker.... We are junkers too. We like "Good Stuff" like old tablecloths, pretty plates, things with snarky sayings, painted furniture, and pretty much anything with a story to tell. This is our story, or what we like to call "Our Tale." You can find even more stories here on these blog pages about "re" design ideas I try, and all the mistakes I make along the way! Categories
