So I turned 50 in February... I am using that as an excuse for not posting anything in February. We celebrated in Chicago! It was super fun. I came across this darling little shop called P.O.S.H. !! It was like... if I had my own shop it would totally be like a sister shop to this one! I loved it. It was filled with so many of my favorite things...
Brown Sugar Bakery I had a delicious piece of cake from Brown Sugar Bakery! It was soooo yummy! On my actual birthday we went to the Green Mill Jazz Lounge. It is an iconic (and vintage) music venue. So cool! Great history. Good music. The weekend after my birthday Nicole and I went to a casino in Wisconsin. This particular casino has actual craps and roulette tables, so we like to go there... but it was so busy we didn't actually even get on a table. ☹️ We did scout-out a couple of cute shops on the way home too. The one shop we found was in New Richmond and it was incredible! It was the most unique, creatively designed little boutique shop I have ever seen. It is called COVET. This place is filled with jewelry like you have never seen before. So unique! Great prices too. So many cute gift items and clothing for babies! The displays were just so clever! Even the bags are little works of art complete with origami birds! It is definitely worth checking out if you are ever in the area. All things I love. For my birthday!
I feel like fifty is trying to tell me something too. I am just not sure what it is yet. So stay tuned. That is all. No vintage discoveries, or old junk to write about except for me. TTFN!

Our mom was a junker.... We are junkers too. We like "Good Stuff" like old tablecloths, pretty plates, things with snarky sayings, painted furniture, and pretty much anything with a story to tell. This is our story, or what we like to call "Our Tale." You can find even more stories here on these blog pages about "re" design ideas I try, and all the mistakes I make along the way! Categories
