Outside...This is our second autumn season in the new house. I have been having fun adding little fall touches here and there around the yard. The leaves are never ending from the trees in the front yard. I like to pretend they are part of the decor. Take a look! I found this rocking chair at a local Goodwill for like $10 and gave it a fresh coat of paint a cute pillow and a little plaid throw (scarf) from Target dollar spot. The pumpkins are fake because... SQUIRRELS. The owl is supposed to keep them away, but that is not exactly working. I have been at WAR with the squirrels. I like to make different outdoor floral designs to spread fall fun all around the yard. I love having a wreath on every door. When I found the cute brown watering can at Goodwill I knew it would be perfect with some fall flowers inside. I tucked it in the potting table by the garden shed. I filled the herb garden with hydrangea flowers I got from my sister and a bunch of small pumpkins and gourds. InsideI have been having fun finding new ways to display some of my favorite old fall finds from years past on the inside of the house too. We have had just a beautiful fall this year in Minnesota. The weather has been perfect and the trees have been just amazing. We even had a Fall Family Fun day!
I hope you are enjoying fall inside and out too!

Our mom was a junker.... We are junkers too. We like "Good Stuff" like old tablecloths, pretty plates, things with snarky sayings, painted furniture, and pretty much anything with a story to tell. This is our story, or what we like to call "Our Tale." You can find even more stories here on these blog pages about "re" design ideas I try, and all the mistakes I make along the way! Categories
