Sissy and I had so much fun on Small Business Saturday. I mean technically we were doing a service to our community... so you are welcome! We actually ventured out a little further than just our local area and hit some of our favorite places just over the boarder in Wisconsin. Then we stopped in Stillwater and Minneapolis. Check out the places we perused... My Happy Place - Somerset, WIThis shop is so fun. They have furniture, home decor, clothing, jewelry, gifts, and more. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and offered a glass of wine! (Okay it was a plastic cup but who cares!) Wine! So smart of them... I bet their sales go up! COVET - New Richmond, WICovet is one of the most unique stores you will find. We have visited here before and we love the one of a kind jewelry designs. The store is so clever and there are so many interesting things to check out. Lydia & Co. Boutique - New Richmond, WIThis was our first time at Lydia and Co. and it is a darling store. So full of pretty things. Lots of home decor, jewelry, and clothing. The owner was a former teacher for many years and she is now pursuing her dream as an entrepreneur! Reclaiming Beautiful - Stillwater, MNReclaiming Beautiful has repurposed furniture, clothing, home decor, paint, and more! Stillwater was just hoping when we drove through! Bachman's - Minneapolis, MNOk, so Bachman's is one of my most favorite places to go ALL THE TIME! I joke that when I am not there on the weekend they are worried about me. I love everything at this store. They have plants of course, but oh so much more! They do a "Home Tour" thing where they set up different little decorated "rooms" you can view, like on a little walking tour. It is my favorite!!! They have a variety of activities and tour options, or you can check it out for free. Grateful for a fun day with my sissy!

Our mom was a junker.... We are junkers too. We like "Good Stuff" like old tablecloths, pretty plates, things with snarky sayings, painted furniture, and pretty much anything with a story to tell. This is our story, or what we like to call "Our Tale." You can find even more stories here on these blog pages about "re" design ideas I try, and all the mistakes I make along the way! Categories
