I suck at making New Years resolutions. Or more accurately I suck at keeping them, I guess. I can make all kinds of them, but they rarely stick. Or more accurately I rarely stick to them. T-BOMB! This year I decided to forget about making a resolution or a list of them and I decided to focus on just refreshing things... I think January is a good time for refreshing! I like to take down the Christmas decorations (I leave up some winter stuff) and then I like to start thinking about re-organizing closets, changing the bedding, repainting a room or two. OH MY GOSH DID I FORGET TO MENTION I FINALLY FINISHED PAINTING THE LIVING ROOM! YEP! Painted when I had COVID! Seemed like a smart thing to do being I couldn't smell anything and I couldn't leave the house. It was only like half the walls anyway. It turned out so nice and I am loving it. There are only two things left to finish up that room... well maybe three... Fresh coat of paint on the fireplace, replace fireplace with a gas one, and maybe new windows... ugh. But hey...the walls are so much better now. Next up... my bedroom, main-floor bathroom, and office!
Stay turned! P.S. Out with the old in with the new or slightly used means new old good stuff in THE SHOP! Occasional weekend is coming up soon! Until next time! Wishing you well.

Our mom was a junker.... We are junkers too. We like "Good Stuff" like old tablecloths, pretty plates, things with snarky sayings, painted furniture, and pretty much anything with a story to tell. This is our story, or what we like to call "Our Tale." You can find even more stories here on these blog pages about "re" design ideas I try, and all the mistakes I make along the way! Categories
