OK! So first BIG Project of 2023. I decided my white fireplace in the living room needed a refresh. Lately I have been painting everything black. So the fireplace got a new coat of Behr paint, color = BROADWAY, in a satin finish. I think it turned out really well and gives the living room a whole new look. I pulled the front off the fireplace and put an electric heater in that resembles burning logs. The whole room has kind of a botany, nature inspired, "booky" vibe. Is booky a word? Let me know what you think! Just a reminder... BEFOREIn ProcessFinished Product - AFTERSo... of course I will keep tweaking little parts and pieces, but I am pretty happy with how it turned out. I like how the black ties into the wall I refreshed in the dining area recently. I really had a lot of fun refreshing the fireplace! I will share some more living room refresh pictures in my next post! I am even going to try to get some video footage. Maybe I will even try the whole YouTube thing!!! My sister and her husband are making all kinds of fun video's for their resale business "I'd Flip That!" and so I think I have to give it a try too! Check them out and then check back for the next post!!! Until then... wishing you well.

Our mom was a junker.... We are junkers too. We like "Good Stuff" like old tablecloths, pretty plates, things with snarky sayings, painted furniture, and pretty much anything with a story to tell. This is our story, or what we like to call "Our Tale." You can find even more stories here on these blog pages about "re" design ideas I try, and all the mistakes I make along the way! Categories
