Sister and I hit the shops on the BIG November Occasional Sale Weekend! We had not been back to them since we closed The Shop back last spring. It is always so fun and it really gets us into the mood to decorate for the holidays! We started with a yummy breakfast at The Cornerstone Cafe in Monticello. Then we headed to Second Hand Rose - the original Occasional Store that started it all in Buffalo, MN. We ended at the 101 Market in Otsego for their Holly Jolly Days event. They had tones of local vendors. It is always fun to see all the junk a.k.a. "Good Stuff." Sister and I got into a BIG discussion about if I had given her one of the darling little "snow" things that they sell at 101, but neither of us could remember... I know I had found this one for myself at a local Goodwill and I could have SWORN I bought her one last year when they were on clearance at 101. Who knows, I guess we will have to wait and see when she digs out her Christmas decor. Hopefully you are having some fun getting into the holiday season!
TTFN!

Our mom was a junker.... We are junkers too. We like "Good Stuff" like old tablecloths, pretty plates, things with snarky sayings, painted furniture, and pretty much anything with a story to tell. This is our story, or what we like to call "Our Tale." You can find even more stories here on these blog pages about "re" design ideas I try, and all the mistakes I make along the way! Categories
