Our Tale...
Our mom was a junker.... She loved to hunt for treasures at local second hand stores and she scoured antique stores frequently. She would brake for a good garage sale and more than once may have re-bought her own stuff at Goodwill.
She is gone now.
We miss her so much. My sister and I joke (believe) that she has been reincarnated as a rabbit (or maybe she just channels herself into them, who knows...) and she is watching us from our backyards. She loved rabbits... She loved birds, flowers, dishes, fabric, and weird dolls... among other things... lots and lots of other things. Things we have come to love too.
We often feel as though we are channeling our mother’s spirit when we are off on one of our shopping adventures together. It makes us feel close to her. She also liked to make things.... “Crafting Keeps You Sane,” may have been her motto... and a favorite saying of Mary Engelbreit, whom she loved. It might have kept her sane, but it also frustrated the crap out of her too! We have fond memories of her swearing at her sewing machine because some seam was crooked or a hem was off.
Making things makes us feel the closest to mom. But it also has made our homes full of STUFF. Very GOOD STUFF! But lots and lots of STUFF... So in order to be able to continue our outings/projects together we have decided to open our shop and help this GOOD STUFF find new homes.
The Reincarnated Rabbit helps us to be able to continue to channel mom through our treasure hunting and project making adventures. So thank you for visiting!
